On successfully securing a role your appointment to Saudi Arabia will initially be on single status. On commencement of employment in Saudi Arabia you will have the opportunity to apply to have your family join you in the future. 

THE ROLE 

- Inspects, aligns, troubleshoots and repairs malfunctions in laboratory standards, general purpose and weapon system peculiar TMDE. Inspects TMDE for preventative maintenance, cleanliness, and safety requirements. 
- Performs equipment maintenance using theories of operation, block diagrams, schematics, logic trees, and software diagnostics. 
- Isolates malfunctions to component level. 
- Calibrates and certifies TMDE to technical data specifications ensuring traceability to International Standards. 
- Inputs maintenance data, prepares reports, technical order improvements, special training requests, training quality reports and modification proposals. 
- Verifies equipment warranties. 
- Provides training to Saudi cadets. 

THE CANDIDATE 

- Knowledge of Electrical, mechanical, physics, radiac, optics and thermal principles is mandatory; 
- Knowledge of Mathematics and number systems; 
- Operating principles, use, care, and repair of TMDE and laboratory standards; 
- Analysis and interpretation of technical data, including block, schematic, wiring, and logic diagrams; 
- Troubleshooting techniques, calibration traceability, metrology techniques, laboratory practices; 
- Computer software, and operating principles; 
- Use of hand tools, procedures for training, supply and maintenance data collection. 

All appointments in Saudi Arabia are subject to receipt of all necessary Government and/or Customer approvals. A valid Baseline Security Clearance (BPSS) or transferable SC security clearance is desirable.
